Alberta North

Did you know that residents of northern Alberta and the Northwest Territories can take college and university courses while remaining in your community? It's all possible thanks to more than 87 educational gathering places called Community Access Points.

A Community Access Point is a location in your community offering free access to the Internet, hundreds of college and university courses, and guidance to get you started on your post-secondary journey.

Alberta-North is a partnership of post-secondary schools committed to distance education in northern Alberta and the Northwest Territories. On this website you'll find a Course Calendar, locations of Community Access Points and libraries, and lots of help along the way.
